Workshops facilitated by other social service providers and community-based organizations

Referrals to substance abuse programs (outpatient and impatient services), legal services, vocational programs, clothing distribution centers

Referrals to support groups for PTSD and stress management

VCS seeks volunteers in various capacities. VCS volunteers consist of people from all walks of life who are committed to making a positive impact to enhance the quality of life for our veterans. Volunteers are asked to provide support in the following areas:

Back Office/Administrative:

Assist back office staff with a variety of administrative duties

Program Directors:
Develop educational programs for veterans and their families i.e. Adult education, Job readiness, interview skills, counseling programs.

Grant writers:
Search for and prepare grants to support our organization

Communications Assistants:
Assist our marketing team in maintaining materials i.e. web pages, brochures, flyers, and newsletters

Special Events:
Assist during special events and various scheduled trainings

FUND Raising:
Host a fundraising event on behalf of VCS

Donations:  Businesses and individuals can donate to VCS to support our efforts.
